I've been flogging this one tonight...been doing fall clean up, and trussrod adjustment. Not done yet, but the action is pretty well set, and intonation is on the money.

Nice simple set up...I need to fix my 90degree cable for the living room.

This is my go-to amp when I'm wanting to chill out in another part of the house, and can't be bothered moving the amps.
All I need is my guitar, iRig, iPad/iPod/iPhone, a 1' patch cord and some headphones.
Amplitube for iOS. I can have any amp I want, any effect I want and it doesn't cost the earth to upgrade to a different amp or effect.
The Fender amps download cost me AUD $30.
If it was a real physical Fender Twin Reverb with these pedals, it would be around $3000!
I may switch to an Orange or Marshall amp next.
You can also get Amplitube for Windows or Mac. I guess this would be handy if you record your stuff through your computer using Audacity or a similar DAW. You can add effects "in real time" like stepping on a pedal.

Ok, it isn't the "real deal", but it's close enough for when you're jamming out in the bedroom!

My current rig. Looove the Grumpy Chihuahua!View attachment 968

Hey Shawn, how did you build the base for the suitcase pedal board? Is it like ply or MDF with space underneath for the wiring?
I'm looking at doing something similar... I've tried various things in the past, which worked, but weren't to my liking.
Do you have any pics of the build process?
Cheers

Down to just this for the time being...

Mark 5:25. Absolute chameleon of an amplifier - it has exceeded all expectations for clean, driven and high-gain sounds. It is so good, in fact, that I am already certain that I will be buying a full size Mark-5 90-watt version when my space issues are resolved.

Gball! How are you man? That's a nice little setup you got there! What are the "cleans" like on a Mesa Boogie setup? I have a sound in my head that's still quite raucous... Good to see you around, anyway!

if it works & satisfies you that is all that matters...

I still use my "normal" amps in our music room, but if I want to just chill in a part of the house where I haven't got an amp set up, I use the iRig.

There's another program similar to Amplitube now available... I may even check this one out too.

Currently what I am playing...mainly the Ecstasy> Gravy>JCM 800 clean channel >212 with WGS Vet.30 & ET-65 12"s.
I am also trying to like that JCA 22H and it just ain't for me. I like my JCA20 combo & Ibanez TSA 15 head (with TS circuit bypassed) so it's out the door soon.

They come & go. This is the current stable.
First off, great room! Second, one day I will come up with a personal and creative idea for you to build me a cigar box guitar from and send you an order. The one on the wall with the f-holes is real nice!

Nice Rigs Guys!

My main rig these days is this combo...I can get pretty much any sound I want from it and the thing will play at bedroom level or blow the windows out of the house.

That is very cool. I am surprised more of us are not there yet. Guitarists hold tight to old ways I guess.

You are the one who gave me the idea to get the Kustom. You posted, I bought. I hooked it up to the cab from my fried Peavey combo. The fridge has about a case of beer in it BUT it is about 4 years old, which is when I quit drinking.
