OK, I caught some flak for thinking about converting my Gibson GA-15 RVT to a Princeton so I am taking another approach.
I have put the Trace Elliot away for the time being, and put the Gibson on the stand instead. Maybe if I play it more it will grow on me.
I doubt it, since I have had it for almost 20 years now. What the hell it doesn't cost me anything so I will give it a bit more love.
Straight out of the blocks though, the Lil Hotone Purple Wind blows the Gibson away.

20+ years is more than enough time to know if you like an amp or not (20 days is, really). Why not move it along and use the cash to fund something you actually want or need?

I was thinking of using the Cabinet and speaker and chassis , and put a Princeton circuit into it. The amp has some sentimental value.

Oh trust me the Mesa gets PLENTY of love. I just like to fiddle around with other stuff sometimes.
