Cool if you dig it, but I see no advantage over the basic winder that includes a notch to pry up acoustic bridge pins.
I have no issue determining the length of string to be wound to the tuner peg, but if that part a better mouse trap appeals, then by all means go for it.

I agree with you jtcnj. I can string up a guitar fairly quick, so I see no advantage for myself. I can see it for a learning tool for those starting out, other than that a pretty piece of hardware.
