Talking about covers of Alanis' songs... IMO, this one by Steven Wilson with Blackfield just obliterates ANYTHING in sight. Even though it's just a handful of notes long, the tone that Steven coaxes out of his PRS at the beginning of this song (with a makeshift napkin holder slide), is one of the most beautifully and melancholically atmospheric I have heard. Love it!

Here is a band I used to go see in my younger days at a local place about 3 miles from my house.
Needless to say, I think they definitely do justice to the originals bands they cover. My high school buddy is their drummer.
