Could be the most Iconic guitar around

I have several guitars as some of you are aware of, that i treasure, but none more than my Stratocaster Style guitars. They play such a wide range of music. There's something that separates a Strat from any other guitar. I regularly play all my guitars , but i am always drawn back to my Strats, they just feel right and sound right to me.There are many companies out there selling them if you are not concerned with the name on the headstock. Like i always say there's nothing like a good Strat imho. So for you Strat guys chime in show and tell us what you like about you're Strats.

It’s an EBMM Silhouette Special with a piezo bridge in Egyptian Mist. I got it just prior to Christmas and haven’t done a NGD yet.

I dont know how, but a Strat is a guitar I have never owned. Literally every other person I played with at some point in time owned one or at least a close variant. My dad even has a beautiful G&L Legacy Special but for some reason, it never worked out with me getting one or a guitar with a tremolo for that matter. I came super close to buying one back in 2001 but at the time i was just starting out and didnt have a credit card, yet had the cash but Musician's Friend doesnt make deals in cash lol

I also have this guy, though. It's a custom built (by me) NOS-type replica of Gilmour's Black Strat.

I scored that when they were blowing them out for $600. I sold a few guitars to buy another motorcycle....I had a Charvel Model 4 in pretty great condition also I scored for $350!

No Strats at this time, but I have owned a bunch over the years. At one time I had only Strats, believe it or not, they just perfectly suited the music we were doing at the time.

(Edit: that being said I personally will still argue that the Les Paul is the most iconic. I believe when the average person, non-guitar player thinks "electric guitar" it's a Les Paul they see in their mind's eye)

How about a 1998 Yamaha Pacifica 312 II...



And, how about a 2018 PRS Silver Sky (first 500 with hardcase and plaque)...



With a nice flamed neck...



I love the HSS format on the PAC 312, and I love the playability of the Silver Sky. Wasn't sure I'd like the 7.25 radius but I don't notice it at all. And the neck is super comfy.
