This is really fascinating.

And...wonder of wonders...miracle of miracles...it’s NOT another Strat, Tele, or Les Paul copy!

What are these guys thinking? Who do these guys think they are? I mean, what gives them the right to actually make a unique guitar and not just follow the pack with, yet another, Strat or Tele copy!

Upstarts!

My sarcasm runneth over.

Enjoy...

Like the idea-- seems cool-- but --------do you need to change pickups THAT FAST-- and obviously you can only USE their proprietary pickups????

And now I can finally live my fantasy of playing on stage with a bandolier of pickups, instant swapping for solo’s mid song, or for tonal shifts. From Gibson 59’s to dimarzio, to Seymour Duncan!

But in all seriousness that’s actually a really cool idea!

Their upper end is $5900.00 top end price request ?? The way the neck is bolted on please ! what would Hackmaster do.

Makes you wonder about these guitars when they are being sold at Bananas. Com for much much less than their retail price.

Contemporaneous thoughts while watching the vid:

Very cool idea.
Nice looking!
Would love to try one.
God, that Seymour Duncan sounds awful!!
Wonder how it looks in different colors?
Weird that you have to take the back off to change strings.
Hate the blade switch, boo!
Overall, I dig it.

I had pretty much the same observations as you. For the switch, I’d like to see a toggle switch in the upper bout, with a brushed aluminum tip. I’d also like to see some sort of extension so the strings could be changed without removing the back. Having said that, the back is held on with magnets, so it’s not like there are any physical latches to wear out. But, I agree with your point.

Overall, I think it is a very innovative approach. I’d like to see what they could come up with for a trem system.

I said the same thing...but now I’m starting to rethink that.

I know...hard to believe, right?

This guitar is so unique that just putting a Floyd on it seems too...well...easy. And, it may actually look a little out of place.

I’d like to see what they could design.
