Consolation prize - The Who vs. Pink Floyd Lets vote

we have a battle of the losers. I'm gonna guess in my head who's gonna win.... Will it be the same as the result?
Hmmm. I dunno. Actually, this is not an easy guess, I feel voters in this whole Battle event sometimes seemed to
favour both of these groups, myself included.

Well, lets see how it shakes out.

A Battle of The Losers? Really? Is that how you're now describing and making a complete mockery of my suggestion that a battle between The Who and Pink Floyd was neccesary to determine 3rd place and 4th place winners within the Battle of The Bands?

I certainly didn't mean it that way Mr. Sarge. However they both did suffer a recent loss at the hands of our fellow TTR members. Far be it for me, a writer of terrible songs, and wholly unaccomplished musician to brand them seriously that way. It was in jest. Poorly so perhaps. And no affront to your idea which I fully attributed. Again the winner of this contest will stand on the podium. Really all 16 groups in this contest are superstars by any account. Lighten up.

AS good as Pink Floyd was I think the Who had more influence. Both great bands. I prefer Pink Floyd but the Who had a huge influence on the direction of music.
