Confessions of a gear mod whore

My grandfather owned an AMC Matador..........

AKA -- the PIMPmobile
That's too funny. Pops had a black one (76) with a white top. Similar to this one, same wheels too.

Had a pimpin plaid interior too.

Seriously Id take an Eagle SX sport -- any day in that condition thing is beautiful!

We had a new Rambler, AMC every couple of years.
Pops bro in Wisconsin was a dealer, so we flipped em often.
Several Ambassadors, a couple of Matadors, a couple of Concords, a Gremlin.
Pops almost got a Javelin in 71 when his younger brother got one, but ol' mom had other ideas, we came home with another Ambassador.

Im such a loser I wanted one of these ........(I thought they where so cool ---HELL it was OHIO come on) -- wanted to get one and puit a LIFT KIT ON IT-- o.k. for the record this PROVES I have been a redneck since --- well .........since I HAD A NECK ....

Im sorry -- thats just kewl.................

I had the 2-door(eagle sx4) version for a couple of years. 258 Jeep straight six, four speed manual, and a set of 30s. 0-40 it was great...anything over 55 was a chore.

I liked Pintos and Mavericks, except for those pesky exploding fuel tanks.
Everyone dissed them, I thought they were ok, not the "cool" car to have but a decent easy on fuel daily driver.

My first car was the worst. EVER.
1975 Dodge Colt (import Mitsubishi) what a cheaply made POS.
Mom did give it to me so no complaints, just the facts ma'am, just the facts.
Glad she wasnt driving it anymore.

EDIT: Another fine example of your great work Mr. Hack!
