An industry gent I recently worked with is Dwight's road Audio tech. Runs all his front of house mix and monitors. The main thing I recall after talking to this guy was, "Dwight is deaf AF!" He runs his in stage monitors at 110db.

Won't run in-ears, doesn't like them.

WTF?! 110DB?!?!?!??

For IN EARS? Why? No reason at all as they block everything.
Man that is deaf!

This is a tough mental exercise to try to remember them. I know I am forgetting as many as I remember, especially opening bands and hundreds lesser-known touring acts that I have seen in bars and small theaters over the years. I did see a lot of these that I remember multiple times though, like Aerosmith at least 6 or 7 in the '70s, and probably close to that for Rush.

Stage volume cant be that high for him.
I guess cause he is deaf. In ears would help that which is how the whole world does it now.
