Collaboration:

Don, Kerry, Anita and myself played a game called Song Pong on the other site where we recorded a part and passed it on. Although I was vastly out talented by the other participants, I had a great deal of fun. Hear is Don and Kerry. This is Don, Anita and myself. This is John hoefacker and me. And this is just me and Don.

Wow I remember that - it was fun. That last one though - I think that was the basic rhythm track I laid down for everyone to work to (drum track using Ableton Live, and guitar rhythm my G400), so if anyone wants to play, that can again be a starting point.

Cool tune Robert, you're a pro. But that is a completed tune there, where you forgot to add a melody. Great if this how you see a collaboration.

What I had in mind is more of a work in progress, not a piece where you have to show your lead guitar skills. I find it kind of intimidating for the common noodler.

My idea would start with a simple chord progression or maybe just a melody line, no effect or maybe something real light. Leave space for a second guitar to complement the canvas. Or one could even rework the first draft track and make the tone, speed or picking different. Then, we have guys with basses here. Why put in a virtual bass line ? Same with drums.
I see the game as a collaboration from A to Z.

But that's me.

Correct on the last one. There is another version with me playing lead over your track and I put your original up and though it was the other version. Here is the version I was on with Burla, my Epiphone G400

I think that we may need another room just for this type of phun stuff.

This was such a great idea that I have created a new room just for Robert's idea. This post will be moved to the new room built in Robert's honor.

It's totally open to whatever the group likes. I think it would be neat!
