All you other 80s film lovers, I just found out that they've made a spin off TV series based on The Karate Kid movie.
At first I didn't think much of it, but it is actually VERY cool. It features both actors Ralph Macchio and William Zabka, and Johnny Lawrence (the villain karate fighter) is actually the main guy now, 30 years later.
It's called Cobra Kai and airs on Youtube Red
I loved to see these guys acting again, and the series keeps a delicious 80s atmosphere, even though it's staged in the modern day.
Oh, and the best part: Daniel San is the @sshole now!
