The reason I posted this was I lost most of my pinky function in a December 1999 accident. Since I relied heavily on my pinky, it had a huge impact on my ability to shred. Seeing Chris Poland do so much without the pinky really was inspiring for me. I put in a solid 8 hours on the guitar yesterday...
