Has anyone else tried Chicken Picks?

ChickenPicks guitar picks

They are a bit pricey... 8 to 10 dollars a pick depending where you buy from. I have the 3.5 mm (yes you read that right) chicken pick "shredder"

The design is interesting, the edges are beveled. They allow you to play faster with ease.

I have a disability in my right hand/wrist from a bad dirtbike crash i was in back in 2000, picking is something i had to relearn how to do because they basically rebuilt my arm and moved tendons around.

The chicken pick seems to glide over the string with little resistance. It truly feels different, and in a good way. They also sound a little different (in a good way) but its very faint, you hear it without the guitar plugged in mainly.

If your looking for something new and different, I recommend trying them out.

How hard are they? I recently bought some fairly expensive Gravity picks and I'm having a hard time getting used to them. Thay are hard plexiglass.

they are solid, its hard as a rock. there is no bend/give to them whatsoever. but thats the reason why they work the way they do. you dont need hardly any attack at all to get a full bodied note. they allow you to pick easier but get big tone.

I like the curved/beveled edges a lot but have trouble with the thickness … I bought an Ebony and a Brazilian rosewood pick recently, one each due to price and they do get an interesting tone, more w/o an amp than with one but still noticeable

Looks a nice pic but a tad spendy. I still use the old grey Dunlop 81 mm. I got some Stadium pics free from somethinng i bought and there not bad.Plus eESGe sent me a bunch lol. But that pic looks really nice.

I use the Cats Tongue, it is firm enough to do picking, yet flexible enough for good strumming. I have used many many picks, but this is my main user.

Those Chicken Picks sort of remind me of the 2.00 mm Adamas graphite picks that I used to use.
