Is Scotland considered to be part of the United Kingdom?
Yes, but they have their own flag.

Ahh. The software that I added to the forum that reads the IP address places Scotland as part of the UK and I don't have away to change this. Sorry for the wrong flag Kev.

My niece is a piper. She was over your side of the pond with her band for Tartan Day 2019 in New York and done a flash mob thingy in the big train station there. I'm sure the videos are still on youtube.

Edit:
Yeah, they're still there but I don't know how to post youtube vids
Just cut n paste the link into your replay here it should work ;)
Grew up next to a Scottish family William and Margaret Kemp and son Mervin. The father played bagpipe records through stolen drive in movie speakers when he worked in the yard.....hours and hours...... (hated it as a kid) appreciated and very much missed it after it was gone ....... damn good folks great neighbors. Both deceased now.

As I said, my niece is a piper and this was her band over in New York for Tartan Day 2019.
They won their grade in the Scottish and European and came second world championships that year

Scotland and England form Great Britain. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is just that since Eire (unlike Scotland and Yorkshire) managed to escape.

We all have our own flags

A Yorkshire lad eh ?

Was down that way last week travelling home from Great Yarmouth. Nearly got wiped out near Leeds due to the conditions and having a rear wheel drive.
This was the A1 just after Wetherby services
