Some Cheap Trick / ZZ Top pics. To do a fair review - Cheap Trick rocked it, lots of sing along party rock. ZZ was great - they played the stuff they did fantastic. But -
Edited for accuracy re bass player's hair n beard.
They also never mentioned Dusty Hill (RIP) at all and it seems new bassist cannot sing like Dusty as they played NO songs he sung INCLUDING the most classic - Tush!
What...?
Then after an hour, was encore time! ??
They played just under 1 hr 20 min total. I was actually shocked. What they did was great but seemed very odd....
my 2 cents worth. Glad Cheap Trick was there. They even invited opener Sue Foley (fantastic blues!) out to play a few with them. Classy move.
ZZ overall was disappointing in those respects.
Rick Neilsen killed it as always. Also looked like he played a vintage LP as well. New guitar for almost every song!!
I used a compact zoom camera so some liberties please with the quality of pics.

Vintage??
