Cheap Oscar Schmidt

Session,

My parents lived in Chatham for about 5 years after they retired. They are back here in SE Ontario now.

I was in Chatham once a while back...nice little town for sure. My dad lived most of his life in Windsor & Detroit and had dual citizenship. Sadly he passed away in November 2001 at the ripe age of 85. If he were alive today I'm guessing he would be 102 years old. I sure miss him still...he had a great sense of humour.

Its tough when you lose loved ones Blackie, I don't have to tell you that. I know a few people from Windsor.

Parts for my 30$ Big Red arrived today

Set up took a while, tweeked the neck and plays ok now

Hard to pick between the 220$ S&P Cedar or my 30$ big red Washburn OS

Yeh agreed

When plugged into an Amp the pickups in the S&P are superior but for a few bucks a sound hole mic can be added.to Big Red

The Big Red has one fewer fret and that seems to have an effect on string tension making Barr chords a little easier to play
