Chapmans Guitars

The British Standard Series is something new for Chapman Guitars. These will be build in very small numbers in England, as compared to the rest of their guitars which are built in Korea. Will have to wait a bit for the Winter NAMM show to find out the cost of these beautiful guitars.

They sell them over here at Cosmo music, the prices are reasonable . Check them out at cosmo music.ca You will see the Canadian pricing.

I Can have a REAL NICE Gibson-- Fender-- PRS-- Musica MAn -- G&L-- Lakeland-- OR a TON OF CRAP in that PRICE range--

HEll I probably dont have that much in all the crap I own----Its mostly low $ Peavey---hated-- despised-- "Crappy" ol USA made Peavey stuff---- cant hardly GIVE IT AWAY----

case in point
I give you an USA MADE 2x12 -- TUBE amp HUGE MONSTER of a beast-- on wheels --- 135.00-- YUP I SHITE YOU NOT lads -- 135 Semolians -- green backs --1 Benjamin and a couple friends--

STUPID DAMN CHEAP---

130 WATTS of tube power--- MELT YOUR FACE gain--- AND SCORPION speaker UPGRADE (those sell for 40-75.00 EACH on Reverb used)
Peavey Classic VTX Combo Amp

IF that was a USA made Fender-- Bogner--Mesa--DrZ -- or a Marshall, VOX, Laney----- it would be a grand or more

the QUALITY to $ value in PEAVEY is SOOOOO ridiculously uneven its comical--- it GLORIOUS -- because I get all sort of WONDERFUL USA MADE HIGH QUALITY kit for PENNIEs on the dollar compared to the Corcksniffery Boutique stuff--- but WOW

135.00 -- and if you wave cash in his face HE WILL PROBABLY TAKE 10.00 LESS!

The white one at top Gibbie Style $502.49 CDN
The Strat with Humbuckers and single in Burst $809.99 CDN

They look descent from pictures. I would actually like to play one, before I made a purchase. Korea makes some good quality guitars.

Well, no thank you at those prices.

My main work guitar is a $750.00 Gibson Les Paul 50's Tribute. #2 is a $750.00 Gibson SG T Series. Both are basically entry level Gibson's, but both are the big neck models which i prefer.

I've played more expensive guitars, most recently, a $10,000 PRS Artist Series, but it didn't feel better in my hands and it didn't have the same "punch" as my 2016 Gibson Les Paul does. The fretwork wasn't any better...and I didn't play any better, despite an extra fret or two.

I guess that's why I stay conservative - I just don't find any guitars that I want because they don't give me what my two Gibson's do...

But I'm also a solid one-woman guy too... :-)
