+1 for the 335. I don't know why it took me so many years to buy one other than they were always just a tad out of my affordability range. If I bought one forty years ago, I'd probably have less guitars now.

Every now and then, Gibson will do a run of 330/335 hybrids like the Luther Dikinson model. Full 335 specs like the neck joint and solid maple center block, but with P-90s. The singer for Graveyard was playing one when I saw them, and I loved his tone. It also looked easier to play than a 330 because it has the 335 neck joint. That's one that is now on my watch list along with an ES-345.

Because I always want to support GAS, here's a photo.

Very nice goodies, what is that 335? Great color and block inlays. I bought one called a figured model, nice flame maple, block markers, nickel hardware, plek’d frets, great guitar.

It's a 2016 ES-335. The spec page says it's a "Faded Lightburst", but it is full gloss. I think faded means it's not a "Full Burst."

Along with that 335, the homemade Flying V and Eric Johnson Strat in that photo along with my homemade Billy-Bo get most of my playing time. I try to keep several others in rotation just so that they are not neglected. The 335, V, and Billy-Bo are my main gigging guitars when we have gigs. We've been on a bit of an extended break due to life getting in the way. C'est la Vie.

I only have 4 guitars right now, and plan on adding 1 or 2 more. Both will be P90 guitars, a solid body for sure and possibly a hollow body down the road. I will sell my ‘77 LP at that point. It’s been with me since 1979 and is the best playing LP I ever played. The E2 could also go really, I only bought it for taking places where I didn’t want an irreplaceable guitar to go. I don’t speak Strat, just can’t make them work for me. I had a Nick Johnson by Schecter Strat, awesome guitar if you want a real good Strat, the wenge neck was great. But the single coil sound of the P90’s is what does it for me. You sure have a nice setup of amps to complement those guitars, very nice tones across the board. I like a variety like that, although I only have 3 amps right now there is nothing I can’t do with them. I have no plans on buying any other ones, if I did it would have to do something different / special.
