I've never tried playing that before, but I grabbed my guitar to see if I could play along. The riff itself is not that tough, but you do have to play it for a couple minutes to get it to sound smooth and fluid.
Fortunately, I had a patch on my Helix that sounds pretty close to that video. It's a patch I made a year or so ago that I call "Power Metal". But, I may tweak it a bit to sound more like this video. I like the tone of that.

What amp ,cab speaker , mic combo smitty ?
The amp model is based on a Peavey 5150, the cabinet model is based on a Mesa Boogie 4FB V30, and the mic model is based on a Nueman U47 Condenser FET mic. I'm also using a distortion model based on a Klon Centaur.
In the Helix Edit software these are called a PV Panama, 4x12 Cali V30, and Condenser 47 FET. The distortion model is called a Minotaur.
Like I said, it doesn't sound exactly like the recording posted in the OP, but it's in the neighborhood of the sound. I'd need to do a little tweaking to get there. I was using my HSS Strat with the bridge pickup (the humbucker) selected.
