True, but there are models built specifically for fast play. They often have a Floyd Rose locking trem, slim body with high access heel, thin neck, hot pick ups...

Don't tell Tal Farlow and Tommy Tedesco and those guys that their guitars weren't made for fast playing.
Are you allowed to play slow bluesy stuff on an Ibanez Jem or is it against instrument's raison d'etre?
(I can't play any faster on my EBMM Luke than I can on my ES 335s.)

By the way, that Carvin looks like a really nice guitar. (Regular English)
