Carvin new territory

My only real-World experience is with Carvin amps. They are extremely well-made, all USA, and very reasonable. Tone is always subjective, but I think they sound pretty fantastic, especially considering the price. I regularly play through a Carvin Vintage 16 that my bandmate owns and it destroys the similar Fender and Peavey amps (Blues Jr., Classics, etc) for a lot less money, plus its made in the US. A buddy of mine had an X-100B and that was maybe the best kept secret in rock. It had ever bit of the swagger of a Marshall for half the price.

Back in FL. when I was doing repair work I had a Carvin come across my bench. I must say that one guitar had great fit and finish. It played well also.
