I quit scuba diving many decades ago after about 4 years of doing it. I realized one day that when I’m out there I’m am no longer at the top of the food chain...

I love diving did a ton of it for about 2 decades never had an issue with predators even when diving in the Bahamas wreck dive 180 feet down 2 reef sharks watched us descend then buggered off over the wall into the abyss once the three of us got to the wreck
To be fair they were maybe 5 ft long so the there eyes three full size humans was an unbalanced match..... plus the small fish were plentiful and I am sure they were not starving
Very cool dive the stern was at 180 feet the bow rested just feet away from a shelf that dropped to deep blue hundreds of feet down
Most memorable dive for sure

Did have an issue on a shallow 80 foot dive . .......one I did a dozen times before .. .ascended to quick and tore my eardrum
