Car Shopping

...but was told they would not refund me until the place that was going to build the motor approved the refund.

So, are you back to waiting for the rebuild or is the new shop going to rebuild your existing engine?

Well the money is back in my account ready for me to pay another company. They have not asked for anything down. I guess I'll just pay them when I pick up my car.

They are going to rebuild a core they have there. Once it's done they pull my engine, swap the manifolds etc and drop it in my car.

Good luck on getting this sorted and hopefully have one less headache to deal with.
Like you said life can be unpredictable.

Forrest's mama said box of chocolates.
I say dice with 1 on most of the sides = lots of snake eyes.
And mother nature is mostly a c*nt too.

I may be a bit cranky today....? ** hey you kids, get offa my lawn!!**

Anyway Grant, I wish you well moving forward regardless.

So, anyway....
We found a rabbits nest in one of our flower beds about 2 weeks ago; been watching for sign the mama has been coming back and they seem ok.
There are 6 or 7; they are starting to go out of the nest on sorties in the late afternoon; we make sure the dogs cant get down into that part of the yard. I dont think they would be vicious but they have that hunt instinct.

** hey, hey HEY!! Dont park by my mailbox!!**
Wait thats the mailman. Ooops.
Mail carrier person non gendery correction, sorry.

Wait my thread management is getting all jumbled together.
Not enough fiber I suspect.

Hopefully, Wav, your loved Evo will be up and running in 30 days time; everything golden once again.

Thanks guys! I love my black Evo, but had I purchased a new car, it would have been white. Black looks great when it's spotlessly clean, but shows the dirt right away. White cars can pass for clean a bit longer and I'm getting lazy in my old age.

Silver coloured cars show the dirt less as well.
Silver and red are the most prone to oxidization and fading. I figure that at my age, if and when I buy a new car, it will probably be the last new car I ever buy. I wanna keep it looking new and fresh, just like me :celebrate2:

I wouldn't know I keep mine 4 to 5 yrs then trade. But when I unload them they look like the day they come out of the factory. I always wax 2 times per year with Maguire's cleaner wax followed up with Carnauba wax. My vehicle gets washed at least once per week whether it needs it or not. The darker colours usually oxidize or fade worse than the lighter colours, Black being the worse, from my experience over the years.
