We have two older vehicles 2005,2007 that are low miles 48,000 and 51,000 running great and well maintained. Is there a kit or a place I could get the seals redone?

Yeah there's definitely kit replacements for every window and door seals you have on your vehicles. You can check both Amazon and eBay for some of the cheapest yet equally reliable ones compared to any local auto parts stores or dealerships.

As far as someone who does it? Some mechanics will, lots of others won't in a basic service center since it kinda falls in auto body vs mechanical repair. However , nearly any dealership repair shop will. Incidentally, you can do this yourself too as it's not really that hard but if you don't want the hassle, try the dealership. They also could get the OEM parts so it's a perfect match but be warned: they usually charge top dollar too.

Good luck!

^^^^ what he said.
Installs at body shops, they usually want to do it with their own parts.

What they said.

As for DYI. Search You Tube. Betting there’s a video of someone replacing the seals. I have needed to do some repair on whatever, and have you tubed it. I either go…. Oh yeah, I can do that or nope…. You can’t make me and I pay someone. It’s worth checking out before taking your cars to someone and paying 100+ bucks an hour to have them do it.

Driver or passenger side? The reason i ask, what i do for a living. if someone expands the doors (usually drivers side)to far to unlock with the bags & does not release the pressure. The door "springs" and the whistle starts at seal because the door is out of alignment, Especially on Chevy trucks & newer ones with most weight at top & bottom of door & nothing real solid between.

if its just a perimeter seal kit, not that hard to do, think of the patience restringing a guitar about like that.

Drivers side is where I am noticing the most.

Who do you think I am? Click and Clack? :pound-hand:
The metal lip that retains the seal can be adjusted using a special tool....without replacing the seal....if you know how.
sometimes they put a little RTV under the seal in certain places...
Proceed to a knowledgeable body shop.
