0.047uf, just saying…The 0.47uf cap on the bridge gives such a dynamic effect on the Gibson 490T. It gives a definition to an otherwise sterile pickup that must be heard to be appreciated.

Great tones, Robert! I love how the B/N position tone tightens the highs and gives them a lovely chime. And there's a wonderful clarity of tone in all positions, for bot six and 12-string. Love how you've built and refined that guitar, Sir!
Is your series cap installed between the pickup and tone control or after the tone control?I agree, my friend and I love the middle position on this so much. The effect of that 0.047uf tone cap (in series) really gives it such a unique tone!!!
As I was reading about this, did you notice any effect on the tone control? Some folks said, when installed this way, it could effect the tone control circuit.
