Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend to my TTR guys 'n buds. I'm busy in the bush gathering wood this weekend, buildin' up a hunger for a Festive Turkey Dinner at Mom's tomorrow.


A few flakes of snow were drifting around this morning while I was loadin' the truck.

I've got lots to be thankful for, even if life seems to wanna be bootin' me in the groin lately. The silver lining in it all is it seems a fellow can even get kinda used to it after a while LOL!

Speaking of life giving out lemons, played some electric yesterday for an hour or so. Haven't ducked under this one for well over two years, a knocked-out Korean DC Special.

Maybe I subconsciously chose a sour-looking guitar to match my sour mood.

Just like everyone else, though. You pick it up, dial in, remember, find yourself lost in time and wondering why it took you so long?

Almost like a free NGD!

Been laying a little low but feeling exceptionally grateful for TTR and all you happy warriors, poets and/or a mix of both.

OK. Had my break. Gotta slip back into the coveralls for some unloadin' and stackin'..

A great football weekend.
A little chilly at game Fri even tho it was very nice weather for this time of year. Was breezy.

Was 22C 72F yesterday.
4C 39F today and snow. Yikes. Welcome to Oct.

Never heard of Irish guac @Don O it's not a thing up here, atnleast in the west. We enjoy more Canadian snack fare such as nachos with salsa, hawkins cheezies, bean & cheese dip, spinach dip in the big hollow loaf, Nanaimo bars, butter tarts and of course pumpkin pie.

Hawkins Cheezies (if I could buy them locally) would definitely be included on my appetizer tray pre dinner. (y)
