Can we turn off the hearts?

You have the power to turn off your own hearts.
Just click your heels together 3 times and say: "there's no place like rome, there's no place like rome...."

But in the user settings for your account, you can turn the holiday / fiesta effects on or off at will.
(you can get a footswitch too)

1. click on your account
2. select "preferences."
3. scroll down -- check mark the box that says "disable holiday styling."
4. click save

That worked. Thanks! I don't mind 'em at first, but they get old really fast - for me at least.

When there is fireworks, or it's snowing in the forum, it's kindda fun.
We have fun with it.
Sometimes everybody puts on funny hats....depends on the season or holidays.
If you turn off the holiday styling you will miss out on all of that hilarious and wild mischief.

There is also a super-secret "ambassadors lounge," which is only visible to the ordained ambassadors who are anointed within the sacred oath scrolls of Omnipotence.
(you learn about this later...after the sacrificial seasons ending.)

Yeah, I'll try to remember to turn it back on tomorrow. Was just really hard to read/type with the hearts everywhere.

Same. The fireworks and such were fun - the hearts just didn't work for me. Maybe if they just appeared for a minute when you first log in or something. But, as they are, very intrusive.

I search for threads and never find them… even tho I put correct spellings and titles…

Then I go back to notifications history to find threads I want.

please provide a link to the page you find in your history, also provide the search words you use.
