For years I have loved this song, but in my head, I hear a super-hard rock version.. The drummer and I been jamming on it during our soundchecks, but it's not popular with the other band members, so this will be a side project...what's you take???

It is a great song. A basic 12 bar minor blues progression with a VI V walk down instead of V IV. It would sound great as a hard rock song. Go for it. If you don’t I may have to try it
