Hi All,
I believe I mentioned in my intro thread that I like to build my own cabs.
Especially when I see the insane prices on gear these days.
Well I also build stuff that I just can't find, like the Marshall C110 cab that went with the Class5 head.
My most recent GAS attack was quelled when I found this Class5 head at the GC across town.

The matching cabs are just not even available, and even if I found one, I could never just have one.
I'm a mini & micro stack addict, if you didn't notice in my gear porn thread.
Not mine, but here's a pick of what I'm going for.

So cab construction began.
Started with some 1/2" seven ply with poplar veneer.

I'm going with 12" speakers instead of the stock 10s, so they'll go up behind the logo plate, but just barely.
Here's the baffle sitting on a spare V30.
My circle math says its about 5% of the cone area.

Put the cabs together yesterday and left the glue to dry.

Here's a shot with the corners rounded and showing the bracing.

I got the baffles and back plates mounted and installed the jacks and wiring.

Up to the office for some speakers and a trial run.

Then took it all apart for final sanding and some black stain.

Now I'm waiting on an order from Mojotone for the tolex, grill cloth, piping & handles.
Logos are coming from Tubes & More, and I already got the little stuff (feet & jacks) from Ambazon.
I'll post an update when all the decorating is done - hopefully this weekend.
Cheers
