Cable Question:

Thanks for that tip. I bought a nice 90 degree 10' cable from Monoprice with gold plated ends. I am going to make a 3' Attenuator harness for my amp then use some guitar cable ends to make a spare 7' speaker cable...

They are great cable hunters....and string.....and rubber bands.....and...
Some of them really enjoy hunting, and killing all kinds of stuff.
The only things that outnumber cables, and fx pedals on my living room floor are “other” cat toys...as the cables, and pedals apparently qualify as her toys too.

I think the conductor wire in a guitar cord is usually thinner than that of a speaker wire. I've read somewhere (a very long time ago) it would take many mant watts to make a difference. Either that, or it's my sinility kicking in again. If that's the case, forget that I mentioned it.

The Monoprice cable is nice. 90 degree screw-on ends, heavy jacket, but the spade terminals on the WGS speaker are NOT standard hardware-store size - they are unique - as are the ones on the factory marshall speaker cable...

Stupid question, but is this cable directional??? Take a look at the image close-up.

If so, can you tell me which end should go to the speaker???

Hahahahahahaha!!! Most certainly NOT directional.
However I would love to see a picture of the original cable end jacks...”balanced” is not something I expect to see written on a “speaker cable”.

The cable that came in the DSL40C was a super cheapo...90 degree plastic end and crimp connectors for the spade terminals...
