Once upon a time, I thought it would be a great idea if we could post our own videos here. It was a nice feature that a lot of members used. This is a good thing and a bad thing. It was great to see y'all performing and I encourage you to continue posting your videos... But we have run into an issue with server space and bandwidth. For this reason we have disabled the ability to post videos. The majority of the space being used on this server is hosting video files. This is maxing out the server and has been one of the main reasons that this site crashes. Although we just moved to this new server, we are already maxed out the server a few days ago. We were able to go into the server and clean up some temp files to get the server online again, but that was just a band aid. The cure for our server is to remove ALL video files that TTR is currently hosting. Below is a link to show you all where all of our server storage is going:

!!! FAIR WARNING !!!

Any files that are not images, will be deleted. Zip files sent in private messages need to be deleted. Wav files need to be deleted. ALL video and audio files need to go. I feel bad that I gave you this feature and now have to take it away. Bottom line is that we take the large files off of the server, or the server breaks and TTR gives a 500 Internal server error when you come to visit. This is a no brainer to me. Please use YouTube or Soundcloud or any other host and link to it in your post. That does not take up space like actually uploading a video.

If you can still edit your post/message and delete the FILE from the message, that will save us a lot of time going in one by one to delete them.

Im totally fine with it, don't worry at all. It's for the greater good of the site, that you guys painstakingly run, just so we have a big sandbox to play around in. Ill check the links of anything i have listed and edit them as blank.

Youtube, Soundcloud and i guess even Dropbox links work better than direct uploads anyways honestly, as its instantaneous and shouldn't chew into the bandwith nearly as bad. Besides that, i dont see myself uploading any of my own content for the foreseeable future anyways, so all good my man lol

You can still post pics, we just can't store videos. TTR is not YouTube and we surly can't compete with YouTube. We are just making room for more posts and pictures.

I understand, grant.. I wasn't dogging on you or the site, changes or anything. I just was aware that Alex kept changing servers and doing stuff that made ETSG seem like a downgrade every time he updated. The xenfero switches he made seemed to rub me the wrong way. As for here,. Like I said, I'm not dogging on anything.

Mike, can you please check your conversations for attachments from February 10, 2021. There are 2 that are huge. There is a smaller one on
June 10, 2021.

I cannot access any of your conversations, nor would I if I could. If your ability to delete has expired, let me know

No problem! It currently dont see any option on it to delete or edit those specific uploads on my end
