All this talk of tubes got me curious. Usually, if I see that an email arrives with tubes on sale, I may get some. Kind of like looking in the advertisements in the Sunday paper before going grocery shopping. So, I checked out what I have. I have power tubes for all my amps times two or three, except my Bandmaster (6L6GT) and my Hiwatt Lead 100R. I've got NOS stuff like Blackburn Mullard EL34s, GEC KT66s, Raytheon 6V6s, RSD EL84s, Amperex 12ax7, RCA 12ax7, GE 12ax7, and Amperex, Mullard, and RSD EF86s. Then there's a ton of new stuff. Most of my power tubes are matched pairs and quads. Many of my 12ax7s are balanced. Have a few RCA/Mullard GZ34 rectifier tubes too. I guess I should get some tubes for my Bandmaster and Lead 100R sometime. For everything else, I think I'm set for a while.
