It seems as if Sovtek, New Mullard, New Tungsol, New Gold Lion, Groove Tubes Russian, etc has just ended.
(all the above production was made in Russia)

Economic Sanctions have just shut off commerce with Russian manufactures.

I know Groove Tubes is selecting OEM original tubes for Fender amps from Russia production.
But they sell Chinese production Groove Tubes in stores, not the soviet made ones.
But this means that Soviet Groove Tubes has ended production for OEM Fender amps.

There will still be JJ, and China production...but many people considered the New Sensor Soviet tubes as the preferred brand....no more no more.

And thinking strategically, there is a very good possibility that even the chinese tubes get affected, depending on China's reaction to the current situation and how and with whom they align in the immediate future. But we know that they are historically and ideologically sympatico with Russia, so... Wouldnt be surprised of including china into the economic sanctions umbrella (not so) further down the road.

Bottomline, I think it's gonna be time for tube production elsewhere to ramp up or get reactivated. RCA, GE, Phillips, Sylvania, Telefunken. All the traditional old school names.
