Buwahahahahahahahahahah

I have to tell you that damn Epiphone Les Paul Special I got for $79 BRAND NEW gives any of my guitars a run for the money in the VALUE = PRICE Wars...

Yeah, I've been looking for one of these for a while - so many folks say they're great and can be gotten new for $150 if you're lucky; or $75 if you're very very lucky!

"A good guitar is a good guitar." - Tony M. -

Yes, that is very true.

Having said that, I do agree with the Anderton verdict. But, I'd add that a $600 SG faded gives many $1000+ guitars a run for the money because it's basically an SG standard without the nitro, binding, inlays or pickup covers; it's amazing value, imho. I do like me an Epi too.

Your wish is my command Sp8ctre, enjoy

I love the high end Gibson's, but currently owning one...I have to say I don't see the extra value for $4K. I still like my 2013 Traditional just as good. The Trad has been upgraded to 50's wiring and a
fantasic set of PUP's, but I still have less tha $2K in it...

That seems to be the modification everyone is doing these days to brand new Gibson's....I had to do it on my 2016 SG, and it looks like the 2016 Gold Top needs all the Gibson electronics removed too...kind of disappointing really.

I recently pulled out my Agile 2100 so I could sell it...it had been in it's case for well over 6 months. It has been upgraded
with Ian Anderson custom wound P90 for Humbucker route PUP's and a 50's wiring harness. I plugged it in and played it
and now it's sitting out in a stand and I play it every day...I guess I'll keep another minute or two...

Here it is during the upgrade phase...
