We looked like that on the coast a couple of days ago. You could taste the smoke. A bit of wind has cleared it up quite a bit for last two days but we are still under an air quality warning. Looks like you guys up in the interior have really got it bad. Hope you’re not threatened by any of the fires.

I am not in any danger but the valley has always been a settling spot for smoke the last bunch of summers Kerry. It does get pretty irritating on the throat!

This is how well these guys fight fires here. This was taken a week or so ago on a fire about 15 miles from me. If that was my house, I'd find that pilot and buy them a steak dinner !
