Hey I’m married so I get told I am wrong endlessly, suggesting black knobs and covers will definitely not hurt my feelingsTo my near sighted eyes, I can sorta picture this one with black pups and knobs. But I just woke up. So feel free to dismiss the suggestion. No hurt feelings.

So I've had a bit of extra time on my hands and doing some work on this. I have the burns epoxied and did the first sand back to reveal low spots, and another round of epoxy. Probably let it sit until Friday and start sanding back again. Then finalize any epoxy "fixes" at that point. Then clear coats, and a month of curing. Perfect timing for the summer heat. I have had a funding setback so I may end up using the lower end hardware that came with it. Well exept the electronics went into the trash. But I do have plenty of those parts on hand. Still not sure abnout the neck, I am sure I can salvage it but I do have another just in case. When I pulled the neck off the body after buying it two of the tuners fell off

I see a tropical beach scene and it needs some blue. Pick guard should be black and it should have a rosewood fret board.

I agree the fret board should be Rosewwod, I am sure I can get the one I have can be brought around. I has just taken some abuse. The PG is still up in the air I may try a swap with another guitar that has a darker tortise shell guard on it and you can give me advice on stuff anytimeI see a tropical beach scene and it needs some blue. I am thinking the old YJM Dimarzios I have will go in this one, While they are not really hot they handle gain really well, it's really the one thing they do well. :dood:

what power outage ?Burn baby burn. That one really got a lot of traces. You wouldn't know anything about a power outage around these parts?
Rosewood fer sure and I did like the copper pg.
