Bass side at .050" as thats as low as I could get without buzzing when playing open chords pretty hard. Treble side is a little under .040" or so...

I was letting ready to install the keystone Grovers....but then I thought the semi-circle keys have more area and might be easier for Mom to tune...IMG_20170425_58973.jpg

Finished at last... :-)

The roller bridge is so easy and fast to intonate. I can set one up so much quicker than an ABR-1 or Nashville. The adjustment is super precise and this may be thread pitch, but it is hands-down one of the best modifications I have done on this guitar. The combination of the brass bridge and aluminum tailpiece gives the guitar such a crazy unique voice. It's almost bell like. The tone controls offer a really good adjustment range too

All done well in advance of Mother's Day!!!!

Mom's new Les Paul Custom Replica, fully outfitted and setup, ready to be tucked into its Gator case for unveiling on Mother's Day.

I hope she enjoys this as much as I enjoyed preparing it.... :-)

Thank you, kind fellows...I hope this will be a stress reliever for Mom and its low action and light string tension (compared to her D28) will enable her to play more often with her arthritis issues...

I like it,my Mom would have to be happy with a card and Mothers day lunch or dinner and id be keepin that damn black beauty for myself hahahaha

The Black Beauty is a fine playing guitar...set with super-low action for Mom's arthritis.
