Budget Guitar Gear

Messing about with some edit gear I have picked up for iPhone, and played a AC/DC jam using a tone cloud patch on the Spark. I then had a crack at editing the video to match. Not easy on an iPhone lol and no I’m not a drummer :)

is more for entertainment value than anything, however the tone patch is really cool

FYI-- a little "tip" on the battery front---
I had used battery tenders for years--- but when I moved to this part of the swamp I didnt have POWER in the shed --- which is at the very back corner of the property (damned inconvenient really)--- so I got one of these.....
1.5 Watt Solar Battery Charger


liked it so much got one for the mower and for my old blue ford truck before I sold it --- keeps the battery juiced --- and runs off the SUN! ;)

We don’t get much sun when it’s snowing lol

battery usually ok for a winter but this was a little longer :(

the mother of all HOOLIGAN BIKES .........
most amazing bike Ive ever owned or ridden in 42 years of motorcycling -- but -- it was TOO FAST -- and I knew I was going to kill myself on it (really-- long story but it was just too good)
So I went with the SPRINT 885
A detuned HEAVIER weight version (the GENTLEMANS ROCKET)

and still a nimble quick beastie ! but -- road only -- and I had a HANKERING for ADVENTURE --
so came the last Lass........The Green Goddesss

yep (the quick ones will notice the Triumph Triple power plant is the same through the range ) --- the Triumph Tiger has ruined me for all other bikes---it does what all the others did -- and then some --
sold off (at one time I had 5) all the rest and have owned the Tiger longer than any single bike ever.......when I cant hoist her up on 2 wheels Ive allready got a sidecar rig in mind ...........this one goes with me to the grave lads.


If you never heard a Triumph Triple (or enjoyed the CRAZY Torque curve) ..... and you ride--- you OWE IT TO YOURSELF to try one at least once -- not the Twins -- the inline Triples --- .........for me it was SOUL AWAKENING ---


sure Leeds -- you HAD TO BRING UP BIKES ------- ;)

well in the U.K. I owned a bike shop. I sold used parts and bikes, called redline bikes, Devonshire Road in Blackpool. Also raced 250’s for several years. I am pretty much bike mad since I was 15 in my Yamaha FS1E days

Loves me bikes. ....more so than playing guitar....the world FALLS AWAY when you ride -- the focus and ZEN of the bike and all ..... its damn wonderful
I got one of these when I was 10 (thank you Grandpa!!!!)

my world changed (my parents medical bill SKYROCKETED) but my GOD did I have fun ........doubt Ive sat still a minute since .......that stupid green THING opened my world ...I off roaded it--- jumped home made ramps -- road it through strip mines and up logging roads and power line roads frozen snow covered LAKES .........I cant even IMAGINE the miles I put on that thing tried to kill it several times and it tried to kill me several more ......... mnowed lawns to make GAS $ ........drug a lawnmower on a chain BEHIND IT ----
Marlin Brandos WILD ONE would have been envious of all I did on this thing ---

fool circle and still green I reckon ......................but a lot damn more CC's lol

my wife had a Honda City Express also, she would ride all the bikes I was not sure were reliable enough to sell. If she could start and ride them, anyone could llol
She rode 3 or 4 different bikes a year ha ha
