Avoiding salty food helps to bring it down to once a night.

What the heck is going on here? All of sudden I'm getting the feeling that I'm hanging out here with a bunch of old guys. :ROFLMAO:
What's old is if you were listening to Tommy James and the Shondells on the radio doing "Crimson and Clover"...... and it was a new release..... and you were a Freshman in high school.

Wrong!!!! Old is when you can remember listening to "Ring Of Fire" (Johnny Cash) and "Wake Up Little Susie" (Everly Brothers) when those songs were initially broadcast on AM radio.

Oh.... I remember both. Mom and dad had Johnny Cash albums. Which I have all of them. Rescued their collection before they could go on an estate sale. What I don't remember is if they had any Everly Bros.

I didn't really start seriously listening to music till I was in HS. Was interested some time before that. Started on trombone in band in Jr. High. Didn't really start buying my own albums and 45s till I was in HS.

So..... you listened to Ring of Fire and Wake up little Suzy as new releases. Did you sit on the floor with your parents watching the B&W when the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan? I'm betting yes.

While doing heiroglyphics homework....

Still love to hear it!
Okay, this was about 15 years ago or so. We had a pretty big cherry tree that had been hacked up by a previous owner of the home. But it still had a couple big branches, of about 12” or so. So I had the genius idea that I would set up my 12’ ladder next to where I would cut this branch off. Then when it started to fall I would step onto the tree in between the two branches. Well when I was cutting through it instead of falling straight down it twisted and rolled and before I could step onto the tree it rolled into my ladder. Which I can only imagine it looked like when Willey Coyote would fall, that’s what it looked like. I fell directly into the branch hitting directly on my ribs. And wind knocked out and that whole thing. So I tried to hide being hurt, but I underestimated how painful broken ribs are, and I could not get out of bed without help the next morning, so the jig was up. I can say sneezing with broken ribs may be the most painful thing I have ever been through, and that includes kidney stones.
The kicker was when I fell my kid saw it and he came up and asked if I wanted an ambulance, and now that’s one of the fun stories at family gatherings. He got to ask that question a couple more times, but that’s here nor there. :ROFLMAO:

I can wholeheartedly agree with the broken rbs ordeal, busted mine and cracked some is about the same, only I did it on my dirt bike.
Sneezing laughing major pain, and painful to try and sleep on your sides.

Chainsaws and ladders don't mix! Two summers ago I parked our RV in my side yard and had a 7 foot step ladder up on top of that to reach some high branches of some maples reaching over my driveway. Yep. Lost balance reaching and fell, bounced off the edge of the Rv ( saw and ladder stayed up there thankfully) and hit the ground like a sack of :poo: ... didn't bust nothing, but was hurting for sure.

We had some low hanging branches that were growing over the house. Rented a pole saw so I could get them from the ground. Was working just fine till it got stuck in a branch. Got out the step ladder so I could throw a rope over the branch. Climb down… pull down on rope to take pressure off the saw. Would have worked had the branch not decided to finish coming down on its own. No harm no foul. Ladder rocked a bit but didn’t fall. Coming down off the ladder I missed the last step and landed on my butt on the sidewalk. Scared the poop out of my wife. I was fine. More worried about where my glasses landed. She was worried about me hurting my tail bone. Legit concern, because I hit pretty hard. Fortunately, my left butt cheek took the brunt of the hit. Pretty sure I bruised my hip ‘cause it hurt for about 3 weeks.

After all that fun…. Had to keep moving since we still had some branches to take down. Fun stuff.
