Bringing the BOOM!

Thanks guys, I'm extremely happy with it and definitely worth the wait. Tone is pretty much what i was looking for and was REAL easy to dial in. blend knob was actually pretty tactile in the way, it let you know when you when you are in the middle. its not an audible click but it feels like it kinda dips in just a tad when you hit that middle right when you hear the tone brighten up (just a bit, i mean i was using mostly the bridge pickup in the song). it was all pretty intuitive on dialing in a tone straight from the boom axe itself.

An aesthetic gripe. I've never seen any guitar or bass use 6 bolts on a bolt on neck. I'm sure theres a reason for it but im not too keen on it. I knew that it did going in based on the pictures but you know, funny thing to gripe about when it clearly has a 9volt battery access and honestly...its the back of the axe, the side im going to see the least of. more or less its just something to note. Otherwise its absolutely gorgeous. Other gripe but i place this mainly on weather and not Schecter. Is im getting massive fret buzz on the 12th fret of the G string. For the time being not that big of a deal, only time i ever actually used the G string on a Bass, was on Ramos' song. Hoping it just needs a setup and not actual fret work like my 7 string needed, for now though that seems to be the only place im finding fret buzz.

all in all, probably not the bass for you if you like the jazzy lighter sound. but if you want to really bring the boom and be heard doing it...this bass will definitely do it. So far, schecter has really impressed me with their inhouse pickups.
