I never liked the DeLorean, I like the Bricklin design much better. Here's an engine in one. It is believed there are fewer than 1200 Bricklins out there.

I remember seeing these things in the car mags many years ago, don't know a thing about them. Kind of remind me of a tough-guy Z-car.

Malcolm Bricklin is a American Engineer, decided to have the car built in New Brunswick Canada. The New Brunswick Government got involved with financing The Bricklin Company, They ended up with Quality control issues , couldn't get the car on the market in time. Sales started to crumble, they had sales for 40,000 vehicles before they started production. The Company collapsed in 2 years after production. Its a sad story a different time and more thought into the design of seals and suspension I think it would of had a good go.

Ya, I was thinking the Bricklin as a coca-mobile when I looked at it.

The car was noteworthy for gull wing doors, and composite body work of colour impregnated acrylic resin bonded to fibreglass.
