In our previous music project, we messed around with recording a few demos, but there was a lot of dysfunction in the group. The drummer and bass player spent most of the rehearsals taking bong hits and we would end up losing our way and not very much was accomplished. The drummer went out with double shoulder surgery and the bass player just decided to quit, sell all his gear and buy quads. We only had a few decent recordings, and this was one of them. It's NOT perfect, but I was able to re-record (adding better) guitar parts, re-track the bass lines and add backing vocals. Our current lead singer (Jim's) original vocals were laid down here in my home studio back in December of 2018. I added some noise reduction, scrubbed the tracks clean of noise between vocal phrases and added a second set of (duplicated) lead vocal tracks, panned at 100% left and right, with heavy delay and reverb to add some fullness. The guitar solo was just thrown in for filler.
