Today is the 11th anniversary of Mrs. B and my wedding. At sunrise, she met me on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale and said our vows.
Apparently, I am doing pretty alright at this marriage thing because when I took her out to dinner on Friday and surprised her with a pair of emerald earrings she surprised me with the coolest gift ever.
She worked with a singer/songwriter to write a song about the memories we've made and the silly things I have done that make her laugh.
She played it for me in the car but didn't tell me anything about it but I liked it enough to have her play it again. On the third time, she handed me a lyric sheet that made me realize that I am the subject of the song. Completely blew me away!
