Rumored since approximately the Taft Administration, the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette, the mystical mid-engine Corvette, has finally transcended myth and arrived in reality. It’s finally here (well, after a leak from earlier tonight). Time to run down everything we know.

I for one think it is about time they came up with a mid engine Vette!!! Starting at under $60 and just a tad under 500 HP. Oh yeah!!!

Its a sweet bowtie, but I will still take the new Shelby...
Front wheel drive is the worst if you are trying to put power to the pavement..
Plus those CV boots wear out to quick n sling the bearing grease out and than the axle burns up..
Rear wheel drive is the ticket...
 
Rear wheel drive through a 8 speed auto (no stick yet). 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds. Nice looking car, just wish they didn't hijack the Corvette name.

The roll out last night was done inside the old Tustin, CA Marine base. I used to work about a half mile from it when it was still a Marine base in the late 90s. Lots of commercials shot inside of it, including some movies.

I do not think its FWD, maybe an option for AWD....
Bowtie would not do a dumb move like that with such a well thought out design..
Any auto maker that tries to push or market some super car so to speak with front wheel drive needs to be thrown to the wolves.....
I was just voicing like Sp8ctre that neither of us like the FWD..

I built a shopping center just south of those hangers
 
Same damn center that I put a 16 penny nail across the top of my right index finger, with one of the fabled double shots from my nail gun while working right to left on a , cornice detail!

I surely like guitar buliding, SWAMPBOY has no SKILL in that area...All I can do is fix fuzzy critters and build Hott Rodds...:BH:

Thanks brother, I have been doing this for some time now, I have been back to remodel, some projects we did in the early 80’s
