The Hm2 was prior to the Metal zone pedal. They have a cult following because of their signature chainsaw sound that is associated with early death metal. The Hm2W was the waza reissue that came out this year. I have 2 of the 80s Hm2 pedals and a Hm2W pedal. This pedal is a staple on my board.

Thats a really cool and harder to find pedal these days. Like you said: THE pedal of the initial Swedish Melodic Death Metal sound ( At the Gates, Entombed, The Haunted, Dark Tranquility and even early In Flames and Carcass).
