Boss GT-1 - Any opinions?

I'm looking for some effects for my Lead12.
For the price of a few pedals, a mid-range MFX gizmo would be another solution.
I've had a few of the Zoom G3 variants, and they are capable with lots of options.
I've also had a few of the larger Boss MFX units like the ME-80, GT-8, GT-100, and I currently have an ME-90.

I'd like something with a relatively small footprint that can store on top of the amp.
Don't need any 4CM loop shenanigans, MIDI control, or fancy stuff like that.
I don't like having to use presets and prefer quick access to just make adjustments.
Kinda like the analog interface of the ME80/90 style boards, but I can make some concessions for a small package.

Checking the usual used gear places and I keep seeing these GT-1 boards at a decent price.
Are they going on the cheap because they're junk, or is availability driving the price down?
$220 new, and almost half that for used.

Anyone got one / had one?
Good for a little SS Marshall, or should I look for something else?

I have one. Use it for practice with headphones. Haven’t tried plugging into an amp or external speakers. It’s fairly versatile. Pretty easy to program if you have it plugged into your computer and use the Boss App for it. For sure it’s not a ME80 or GT100 but it ain’t bad for the price. For me and how I use it, I like it and am glad I bought it.

Thanks for the feedback, @iblive .

I threw a low-ball offer at a Zoom G3n that was unexpectedly accepted - kinda like the amp.
Karma perhaps?

Still interested in the GT-1, but I know what I'm getting with the G3n. Any effects are all going through the input of the Lead12, and I'll be able to stack up to 6 with the Zoom.

And it has stereo out ...
