Big guard SG, and 67 V style, pick guards require some modifications....unfortunately.
The V pick guard that I modified was fairly easy and straightforward. I haven’t tried the SG big guard yet.

Nope, no soldering required. The tune-o-matic style are mounted to the stop bar bushings. Super easy install. A little setup time, and you’re good to go.
A well cut, and lubed, nut...and locking machine heads...are a big plus in setup performance.
