As I was hunting for songs for Owegi/Drumoid's thread for good songs for newbie drummers to play I spent a good bit of my afternoon jammin out to the best of Sabbath from Ozzy days to Dio.

Many awesome jams from the boys from all these albums.

Black Sabbath is easily the most important band of my life. They influenced every aspect of my musical taste and have informed everything I have ever done playing music. They are the greatest band I have ever heard, and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is the single greatest album I have ever listened to.

Not exactly beginner drumming material though, haha. Damn Bill Ward swung.

Sabbatoge was the first album I bought of Sabbath.......wore that thing OUT.......my dad asked why is that guy wearing a dress? ---that is a guy right? ---you damn kids.....turn that poop off and go mow the lawn.......(but Dad theres 3' of snow on the Lawn) ---well I suggest you wear a jacket!

My oldest albums are all Sabbath. I remember stretching the headphone cable across the kitchen, so my parents wouldn't have to suffer thru the madness, known as Black Sabbath.

Not sure what I did to my Paranoid album, but it took a beating!!

Black Sabbath was the most influential force in my life as a teenager. I still listen to their music like it was the first time I heard it.

Sabbath seriously opened my mind up to hard rock and metal! I was 12 when I first hear them on cassttes my step dad brought back
from Viet Nam...you talk about some eye opening $hit! However I will say I only love them with Ozzy...No Ozzy No Sabbath IMO...
Dio was fine with Rainbow...but Sabbath is only Sabbath with the Oz Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YMMV
