So, check this out...
Last night I had a dream that pretty much amounts to a nightmare.
In this dream, I had finished playing a gig and was intermingling a bit with the crowd. After a bit, I went back to the stage to begin packing up.
Well, in this dream, in that short time after the gig, someone had vandalized my Les Paul.
I dreamt that literally all the hardware and electronics had been stolen from it, right down to the bridge and tailpiece bushings. What's more, the headstock had been cut in half! It had been cut diagonally from around the low E tuning hole through the G tuning hole and that whole diagonal section on the bass side was gone. The remaining portion of the headstock had been set on fire and was just charred wood when I found the guitar. To top it all off, the guitar had been sanded all over with what seemed to have been about 60 grit sandpaper!
Needless to say, the guitar was pretty much trashed.
The dream seemed very real and I woke up in a literal sweat.
Yeah, I checked in on my Les Paul today to make sure it was okay!
