I'm done with this exercise in fanaticism. I don't plan on getting the Nano Green Rusian RI or the Nano BMP since I have the original big box versions. But who knows? That's a dual input Expression pedal connected to the Deluxe BMP and the Deluxe Sovtek CW. Don't hate me cause I'm mental, please.

I need to get better at bass. I have a decent bass rig just haven't played for a while. It's not as fun without a drummer. :(
I hear you on the lack of drummer....it’s a pandemic shortage...I’ve got EZ Drummer, but it’s not the same...
And.....yes....a good bass would benefit all of that Muff!
I‘ve really come to adore the parallel fuzz/clean thing on bass for doom and other stuff...just a touch of Muff-tone, and a giant helping of solid boom, can make for a hugely awesome time!

What's your bass rig?

What's your bass rig?
Ummm....it’s kinda modular, and mood dependent.
Cabs: Kustom 2x15 with Weber bass speakers, Peavey 4x10, Peavey 1x15, Tube Works 1x15(used to be a combo amp, but the head section blown by my bass player, on a loaner gig).
Heads: 68 Kustom K200A, 73 Kustom 250-2, TC Electronic BH250, Orange Tiny Terror(yep, the guitar head....don’t knock it ’til you’ve tried it...one of my favorite practice rigs), several random power amps to choose from fed by a UA 6176.
But, most common rigs:

This pedal board pic(above) is a bit dated...the Silencer pedal has been replaced by a Boss NS-2. Also the Flashback delay is mostly used for its looper function(for writing/jamming purposes).70AC3BAA-6FA2-461B-8705-793E48D8D2FD.jpeg8A18EA9E-31A3-4A93-A3DD-390E999BA540.jpeg1DCB2329-5C38-4133-A937-494B6E140468.jpeg
In the last pic, on the right hand side, you can see the Tiny Terror sitting on the Tube Works 1x15. It’s really a quick and dirty little practice rig.
I’m not much of a bassist though...I do like to write songs, and bass is an important part to play in rock/metal/stoner etc.
